With just eight days left until Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters nationwide, Warner Bros. has released six new clips from this highly-anticipated superhero adventure. While there are no massive spoilers contained in this footage, these clips do offer some new insight into the title characters, and their respective alter-egos, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) and Clark Kent (Henry Cavill). We also get another glimpse at Diana Prince (Gal Gadot), who apparently stole something from Bruce Wayne.

The first clip features Lex Luthor telling Superman why he should fight Batman, calling it the greatest gladiator match of all time. The second scene is actually an extension of a sequence we've seen in the trailers, when Clark Kent first meets Bruce Wayne, and questions him about Gotham's "Bat vigilante." This scene actually ends with a subtle nod to The Joker, with Bruce telling Clark that Gotham city has a bad history of "freaks dressed like clowns."

The third scene takes us to the Daily Planet, where Lois Lane (Amy Adams) has found a rare bullet, and asks her editor Perry White (Laurence Fishburne) to fly to Washington D.C. to have this bullet examined. Lois mentions that this bullet was recovered from a "firefight in the desert," and that it isn't sold or manufactured anywhere in the world. The fourth clip features Bruce Wayne trying to convince Alfred (Jeremy Irons) that Superman needs to be destroyed.

The fifth features part of the epic Batman v Superman battle itself, where Batman tries to trick the Man of Steel with a smoke bomb, but Superman is still one step ahead of him. The final scene may be the most intriguing of all. This sequence features Gal Gadot being confronted by Bruce Wayne, who says she stole something from him the other night. Unfortunately, we don't know what she stole, but Diana does add that they're both after the same person. Given Bruce's negative opinion of Superman, could this mean that Diana is targeting the Man of Steel too?

Following his titanic struggle against General Zod, Metropolis has been razed to the ground and Superman is the most controversial figure in the world. While for many he is still an emblem of hope, a growing number of people consider him a threat to humanity, seeking justice for the chaos he has brought to Earth. As far as Bruce Wayne is concerned, Superman is clearly a danger to society. He fears for the future of the world with such a reckless power left ungoverned, and so he dons his mask and cape to right Superman's wrongs. The rivalry between them is furious, fueled by bitterness and vengeance, and nothing can dissuade them from waging this war. However, a dark new threat arises in the form of a third man: one who has a power greater than either of them to endanger the world and cause total destruction. Take a look at these new clips from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, arriving in theaters March 25.
