Filming_Chicago has received photos of the coins, which signify the shooting dates (May 19, 2014 to December 4, 2014), with one side featuring the Batman logo and the other showcasing the Superman logo. In addition, has received Henry Cavill's note that accompanied the coins, which you can read below.

"During [the Man of Steel] shooting I discovered that the US military have a series of coins to commemorate each department and individual force within the military so I thought, considering the epic journey we all went through on such an iconic project, it only fair that we have our own coin too! This is just a little souvenir to keep and remember the satisfyingly hard work and the good times from start to finish."

As he said in the note, Henry Cavill started this tradition on Man of Steel, which continued with Warner Bros.' The Man from U.N.C.L.E..
