As Adam West and the The Big Bang Theory gang demonstrated last week, 'who's the better Batman?' is an endlessly debatable topic of discussion. One that doesn't really have a right answer. But one former The Dark Knight trilogy star certainly knows where he stands when it comes to the Christian Bale Vs. Ben Affleck debate. Morgan Freeman, who played Bruce Wayne's savvy tech advisor Lucius Fox, is not about to hand the title of best Batman movie over to Zack Snyder and his Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice anytime soon.

Morgan Freeman made his debut as Lucius Fox in Batman Begins, and he still stands by it as the best Batman movie. He doesn't believe there can be a better interpretation of the DC Comics character, no matter how great the trailer may look. About choosing his Dark Knight trilogy over Ben Affleck's version of Batman, the actor had this to say.

"You know, I'm happy for Ben [Affleck], but I don't know how that's gonna work. Because the 'Dark Knight' was almost 'it.' Pretty much 'it.' Did you see 'Batman Begins?' I don't think you can beat that."

Christian Bale, who crawled into the Bat cowl three different times, won't be so bold as to call himself the better Batman. He actually has kinder words for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. He's looking forward to watching it for the first time. But, on the other hand, he also gives props to his former co-star Morgan Freeman for speaking his mind and appreciates the kind words in his favor. Christian Bale explains.

"Everyone brings their own element to that -- Ben [Affleck] will do that as well. I think the trailers are looking great and I'm looking forward to that. But right on for Morgan [Freeman] for saying no one will ever be that, I very much like him."

We're pretty sure Morgan Freeman hasn't seen Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice yet. And he might want to watch his back, as Batfans are insane! They do not take kindly to any disparaging remarks about their beloved Batman movie franchise, no matter who is playing the caped crusader. What is your opinion? Do you think Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice won't be able to top Batman Begins and the rest of the Dark Knight trilogy? Or is Morgan Freeman talking out the left side of his bathole?
