Earlier today, an image surfaced that is reportedly from the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer that reveals the movie is actually being split in two, with the first part, Batman v Superman: Enter the Knight hitting theaters October 23, 2015, and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice arriving on its previously-issued release date of March 25, 2016. While the image's authenticity has not been confirmed or denied yet, Badass Digest reveals new details that indicate the movie will not be split in half, primarily because there just simply isn't enough there to do so. There will be potential spoilers below, so read on at your own risk.

The site speculates that, according to the script they're familiar with, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice could easily "clock in" with a run time of two hours and 20 minutes, and there may even be a natural splint point with a fight that occurs between Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill). However, the fight "isn't that huge," and there reportedly isn't enough action in the first half of the movie to warrant it being split in half. However, there is plenty of action in the second half of the movie, including a climactic end fight between Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) and the villainous Doomsday, which was teased in a story from December. The fight scene will reportedly span throughout both Gotham and Metropolis. If the movie was to be cut into, it would feel very lopsided.

It is also mentioned that Cyborg, played by newcomer Ray Fisher, only has a cameo towards the end of the movie, when the entire Justice League assembles for the first time. The site speculates that, if Warner Bros. was in fact going to cut Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in two, they would have "beefed up" the Cyborg role some more. Naturally, none of this has been confirmed by Warner Bros., but hopefully we'll learn more when the first trailer debuts, which will reportedly happen next month.
