Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder and stars Ben Affleck and Amy Adams took a break during production recently to help spread awareness for Save the Bats Week with a new video.

Amy Adams is seen holding a bat herself, while admitting that she used to be afraid of these nocturnal creatures, although now she finds them quite charming. Director Zack Snyder also helped out by contributing materials recycled from the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice set to build new bat habitats to help these dying creatures.

North American bats have been dying off lately due to the spread of a fungus called White Noise Syndrome, which has killed more than 6 million bats to date, as the species is on the brink of extinction. It remains to be seen if the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice cast and crew will continue to spread the word for Save the Bats week, which runs from October 26 to November 1.
