Batman is going to need a lot of help if he plans to beat Superman in their epic rooftop battle. Earlier today, EW wowed fans with a bunch of new photos from next year's most anticipated movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Now, they have one more photo to show off in anticipation of the DC Comic movie's appearance next weekend at Comic Con in San Diego. This latest sneak peek has Bruce Wayne stepping into his reinforced mech-suit equipped with both strength augmenting armor and, yes, it's confirmed, Kryptonite!
As you can see, this Bat Armor is modeled after the suit seen in Frank Miller's seminal comic book miniseries The Dark Knight Returns. In the photos released earlier today, which we've included below in case you missed them the first time around, we get to see Gal Gadot out of her Wonder Woman outfit for the first time, wearing a very elegant ball gown. About the scene, Ben Affleck had this to say.
"I love the fact that there was this Thomas Crowne Affair, Bond-y sexy scene that they wrote about two people who are pretending to be two different people who each know the secrets of the other person."
"I like to think that Man of Steel was the perspective of the world from Clark, Kal-El, looking at the world and trying to exist within it. Batman v Superman is definitely more mankind's perspective of Superman."
Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice promises one of the biggest superhero fights of all-time when it hits theaters next March. Take a look as this epic face-off begins to get underway, along with the rest of the photos that were released this morning. And don't forget to check out the Batman V Superman Comic Con panel happening Saturday, June 11 at 10:30 am in Hall H. It will be something to remember!
