While fans got their first taste of the new DC Comics movie universe with 2013's Man of Steel, that world will get much bigger with the arrival of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, hitting theaters March 25, 2016. One of the several iconic characters from the DC Comics is Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor, whose company LexCorp has been put at the center of the movie's viral marketing campaign. The new website LexCorp.io recently launched, and while there isn't much on the site now, fans can enter their information to be notified of any updates. The website also includes the LexCorp mission statement, which you can check out below.

"LexCorp is building a better tomorrow, today. LexCorp provides expertise and research to the global marketplace and cross-industry innovations that transform and inspire. We build products that help millions of homes, businesses and governments work better."

Earlier this month, during New York Comic Con, LexCorp provided fans at the Javits Center free wi-fi, with the fictional company "announcing" Lex/OS, dubbed, "the world's most private and secure operating system." We also learned more about Lex Luthor himself recently, with a fictional profile from Fortune Magazine, where it was revealed that "Lex" took over the company in the year 2000, after his father, Lex Luthor Sr., passed away. Under Lex Jr.' leadership, LexCorp emerged as the second largest tech company in the world, just behind Wayne Enterprises.

Lex Luthor first appeared in the DC Comics in April 1940, just two years after Superman's first appearance in 1938. While the character is traditionally portrayed as bald, we saw Lex with a full head of hair in the second Batman v Superman trailer that debuted at Comic Con back in July. We know that Luthor will eventually go bald in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, since the first official photo released in March showed the villain without any hair. While the actor wouldn't comment about his bald look, he did discuss some of the research he did before shooting.

It's possible that the new Lex/OS website launch may coincide with the next Batman v Superman trailer, but we don't know for sure. The website also features a link to Lex Luthor's Twitter page, and although this young businessman hasn't tweeted much yet, that will likely change once Lex/OS is officially announced. Visit LexCorp.io to sign up for updates, and stay tuned for more as we get closer and closer to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice's March 25, 2016 release.
