Shortly after the first trailer leaked, director Zack Snyder tweeted out the /batman-v-superman-dawn-justice-posters/first Dark Knight and Man of Steel character posters for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Sadly, those two one-sheets, which were handed out to fans who attended the IMAX event, were obscured by each character's iconic logo. Today, we get the Batman poster logo-free, which reveals the entirety of Ben Affleck's sad, pouty face.
Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck star as the title characters in Batman v Superman. Reprising their roles from Man of Steel are Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Diane Lane as Ma Kent and Laurence Fishburne as Daily Planet editor Perry White. The cast also includes Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash and Ray Fisher as Cyborg, who will form the Justice League in the two-part adventure Justice League Part 1 and Justice League Part 2, set for release in 2017 and 2019.
Zack Snyder is directing Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice from a script by Chris Terrio, with Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey, Tao Okamoto and Scoot McNairy rounding out the cast in unconfirmed roles. Its not clear when or if we'll get a logo-free Superman poster, but it's not as important, as we've already seen quite a bit of Henry Cavill in character. For the time being, take a look:
