Earlier this week, the full-length third trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice debuted on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, surprising fans with its big Doomsday reveal. Today, star Ben Affleck appeared on Good Morning America to introduce a slightly altered take on this latest sneak peek. It is shorter. But it does deliver a few select moments of new footage. This is what Ben Affleck had to say.

"Good Morning, America! I'm so excited to introduce this film to the world on March 25th. These two giants and icons of the comic book world are together on screen for the first time. There's a special clip we've made just for Good Morning America. I can't wait for you to see it. I think you are going to love the movie. I'm really proud of it. I hope you like it."

While you'll notice that most of this trailer is the same that arrived earlier this week, we do get some alternate new footage of Jesse Eisenberg as the villain Lex Luthor. The very first moments, where Henry Cavill's Clark Kent sees Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne arriving in his car has been cut. Instead, the footage cuts directly to the two future foes shaking hands. From there, we get a version of the trailer that has all the fat cut off, with a slimed down action packed sneak peek that gets right to Wonder Woman and Doomsday.

Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.

Man of Steel stars Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Diane Lane (Martha Kent) and Laurence Fishburne (Perry White) return for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which introduces a slew of new characters. Gal Gadot stars as Wonder Woman, alongside Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred and Holly Hunter in a role created specifically for this movie. Other supporting cast members include Jena Malone, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Tao Okamoto and Scoot McNairy.

Those movies will be followed by Wonder Woman (June 23, 2017), Justice League Part 1 (November 17, 2017), The Flash (March 23, 2018), Aquaman (July 27, 2018), Shazam! (April 5, 2019), Justice League Part 2 (June 14, 2019), Cyborg (April 3, 2020) and Green Lantern Corps. (June 19, 2020).
