When the first full Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer debuted during Comic-Con last month, fans got their first glimpse of Gal Gadot in action as Wonder Woman. The beloved superhero character was clearly doing battle with someone, or something, in the footage, but it was never shown exactly who she was fighting. Today we have a new unconfirmed report from Heroic Hollywood, which reveals exactly who the heroine is doing battle with. There will be potential SPOILERS below, so read on at your own risk.

If this report is true, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman will be facing none other than the villainous Doomsday in what is being described as an "integral scene in the big showdown." It isn't known if Batman (Ben Affleck) or Superman (Henry Cavill) will be a part of this action sequence as well, but this report goes on to say that Wonder Woman manages to chop off Doomsday's hand with "that awesome sword of hers." The fight apparently doesn't end there, though, since the villain reportedly grows back a "bone blade" in place of his severed hand.

This report has not been confirmed, but it certainly isn't the first time we've heard about Doomsday's presence. In May, we reported that Doomsday will be the "muscle" for Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor. It isn't known if we'll ever get any sort of official confirmation regarding Doomsday's involvement in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. It is believed that Wonder Woman's fight with Doomsday is "shown and hinted in the trailer."

How the fight ends is not revealed, and it's unlikely we'll get any concrete details about this battle until Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice arrives in theaters March 26, 2016. This highly-anticipated adventure is also rumored to unite the entire Justice League for the first time, leading into Justice League Part 1 and Justice League Part 2, set for release in 2017 and 2019, respectively. Along with Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, fans are expected to get their first look at Jason Momoa's Aquaman, Ezra Miller's The Flash and Ray Fisher's Cyborg.

All of those aforementioned heroes will be getting their own superhero movies between now and 2020, along with the new Green Lantern in Green Lantern Corps., although that character has yet to be cast. There has been speculation that Tyrese Gibson is playing John Stewart, but nothing has been made official quite yet. While we wait for that casting announcement to surface, what do you think of these Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice details?
