Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice cinematographer Larry Fong revealed on his Instagram page last night that production has wrapped on the highly-anticipated DC Comics project. Principal photography began back in April, under the direction of Zack Snyder, with the production filming in Detroit, Chicago and New Mexico. Now that production has wrapped, the big question is: When will fans get to see the first footage?

That remains to be seen, but you may recall that less than a month after Star Wars: The Force Awakens wrapped last month, fans got to see the first trailer. With that being said, the only wide release from Warner Bros. this month is The Hobbit: The Battle of The Five Armies in less than two weeks, but the studio is also releasing American Sniper in limited release on Christmas Day before it expands nationwide. It's also possible that the first footage is being saved for the Super Bowl, but that hasn't been confirmed either.

Henry Cavill reprises his Man of Steel role as Clark Kent/Superman, alongside Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Diane Lane (Ma Kent) and Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), with Ben Affleck playing Bruce Wayne/Batman, Gal Gadot portraying Wonder Woman and Jesse Eisenberg as the villainous Lex Luthor. While we start the long wait until the first trailer debut, take a look at this mysterious Instagram video from Larry Fong below.
