In a story from Variety, it appears that BBC America has picked up the final 5 Doctor Who specials that will complete showrunner Russell T. Davies' tenure on the British sci-fi franchise.

David Tennant played the Doctor.

The way it breaks down is that The Next Doctor, the series' Christmas special, will run at 9 p.m. June 27, and the next special after that, Planet of the Dead, will air in July.
