Before Ben Affleck sports the cape and cowl in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the actor will play a troubled husband this fall in director David Fincher's Gone Girl. Following the debut of the first full-length trailer last month, Warner Bros. has debuted two new posters featuring Ben Affleck as Nick Dunne, who is constantly searching for his missing wife Amy (Rosamund Pike).

Based on Gillian Flynn's best-selling novel, Gone Girl follows Nick as his life is turned upside down when his wife Amy goes missing on their fifth wedding anniversary. Nick quickly emerges as the prime suspect, as everyone begins to wonder if Nick murdered his own wife. Take a look at the posters below for this adaptation, arriving in theaters October 3.
