Ben Affleck may be heading a few states east for a new production. According to Variety, Mirimax is developing the feature film Arizona, eyeing up Ben Affleck to direct.

The film will be based off the true story of Don Bolles, an investigative journalist for the Arizona Republic, who died in 1976. The story will start with his death, by a car bomb explosion as he was investigating organized crime members infiltrating the state government.

Sheldon Turner is writing the script and Affleck would produce with Sean Bailey. No production schedule was released for the film.
