Following the new trailer that debuted yesterday, an extended UK trailer has been released for Gotham, which shows plenty of new footage, including the murder of Bruce Wayne's (David Mazouz) parents.

We also see the future Catwoman, Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova) watching over Bruce as James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) promises to find the man who killed Bruce's parents. While Gordon is determined to clean up the streets of his hometown, he receives a number of stern warnings from his partner Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue). Check out this latest tease, which also features Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin (Robin Taylor), Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith), Ivy Pepper/Poison Ivy (Clare Foley ll) and Edward Nygma/The Riddler (Cory Michael Smith), before Gotham debuts Monday, September 22 at 8 PM ET on Fox.

Before there was Batman, there was Gotham. Everyone knows the name Commissioner Gordon. He is one of the crime world's greatest foes, a man whose reputation is synonymous with law and order. But what is known of Gordon's story and his rise from rookie detective to Police Commissioner? What did it take to navigate the multiple layers of corruption that secretly ruled Gotham City, the spawning ground of the world's most iconic villains? And what circumstances created them - the larger-than-life personas who would become Catwoman, The Penguin, The Riddler, Two-Face and The Joker? Gotham is an origin story of the great DC Comics Super-Villains and vigilantes, revealing an entirely new chapter that has never been told.
