Ben Stiller's production company Red Hour Films is turning Marie Phillips' upcoming debut novel Gods Behaving Badly into a television series. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the book is being released December 10th in the US.

The story is a contemporary comedy that takes place in London. The ancient Greek Gods have all been living together in a house there since the 1660s. Even though they run the world, they have grown bored with their existence.

Red Hour's Stuart Cornfield stated, " Gods Behaving Badly has a rare comedic collision of the mythic, the mundane and the emotionally real. We are very excited about moving ahead with this." The search is under way for a writer to adapt "Gods" for the small screen.

The series pilot does not have a set start date at this time.
