Back in August, we showed you the first photos of the shape-shifter Beorn (Mikael Persbrandt) from The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, in both bear form and from behind. Today, we have a look at the character's face in human form, as he holds a massive axe and sports a forked beard. The image reportedly comes from the tie-in book The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug - Annual 2014. Hopefully we'll see more of this character as we near closer to the December 13 release of director Peter Jackson's Middle Earth sequel.
