While the Primetime Emmy Awards didn't see Better Call Saul taking any wins, the series fared much better at the Saturn Awards. Earlier this year, the show aired its sixth and final season on AMC. With the series maintaining its high level of quality all throughout, many fans hoped it would finally be earning some Emmy wins to show for it, but that wasn't meant to be.

It was a different story at the Saturn Awards on Tuesday. Better Call Saul went into the event strong with seven nominations, more than any other series with The Walking Dead and Superman & Lois each pulling in six noms. Even better for the Breaking Bad spinoff series is that it brought in wins for all it was nominated for, such as the award for Best Action/Thriller TV Series. It bested other popular shows like Big Sky, The Blacklist, Dark Winds, Dexter: New Blood, Outlander, and Yellowjackets.

Series stars Bob Odenkirk (Jimmy McGill) and Rhea Seehorn (Kim Wexler) also respectively won awards for Best Actor and Best Actress. Odenkirk got the win over Fear the Walking Dead's Colman Domingo, The Man Who Fell to Earth's Chiwetel Ejiofor, Dexter: New Blood's Michael C. Hall, Outlander's Sam Heughan, Superman & Lois's Tyler Hoechlin, and From's Harold Perrineau. Seehorn overcame Outlander's Caitriona Balfe, Big Sky's Kylie Bunbury, Shining Vale's Courteney Cox, Yellowjackets' Melanie Lynskey, Ghosts' Rose McIver, and Superman & Lois's Elizabeth Tulloch.

The cast of the show also totally dominated the nominations for Best Supporting Actor. Jonathan Banks grabbed the win for his unforgettable role as fixer Mike Ehrmantraut. Also nominated for the same award were Tony Dalton (Lalo Salamanca), Patrick Fabian (Howard Hamlin), and Michael Mando (Nacho Varga). The others nominated were What We Do in the Shadows' Harvey Guillen, Ghosts' Brandon Scott Jones, and The Walking Dead's Michael James Shaw.

The cast and crew of the series have been celebrating their wins at the Saturn Awards. Peter Gould, who created Better Call Saul with Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan, posted an image to Twitter of the show's Best Action/Thriller award. He added in a follow-up tweet, "A great big THANK YOU to the Saturn Awards!"

Better Call Saul was also bestowed with a special Robert Forster Artist's Award; Forster had appeared in the series in season 5, though he passed away in 2019. The award was given to the entire ensemble cast with Patrick Fabian accepting. Fabian also posted an image of himself with his award and wrote, "Thrilled to accept Best Ensemble Award on behalf of the Better Call Saul cast at Saturn Awards last night."

For the fans, it's nice to see the series getting award recognition after an acclaimed final season. Meanwhile, the stars have been moving on to other projects, as Bob Odenkirk will next star in a new AMC dramedy dubbed Straight Man, while Rhea Seehorn will team back up with Vince Gilligan for a new series in the works at Apple TV+.
