Fans of the living legend Betty White will be able to celebrate her 100th birthday by reliving some of her funniest career moments on the big screen. A documentary dubbed Betty White: 100 Years Young — A Birthday Celebration will be heading to theaters for one day only courtesy of Fathom Events. It will screen in 900 movie theaters nationwide on Jan. 17, 2022, the day the iconic actress becomes a centenarian. You can watch the trailer below.

The synopsis reads, "Betty White invites you to her 100th birthday celebration event. The party for America’s sweetheart includes her star-studded cast of friends including Ryan Reynolds, Tina Fey, Robert Redford, Lin Manuel- Miranda, Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman, Jay Leno, Carol Burnett, Craig Ferguson, Jimmy Kimmel, Valerie Bertinelli, James Corden, Wendy Malick, and Jennifer Love Hewitt. You’ll experience Betty's funniest moments on The Golden Girls, hosting SNL, Hot in Cleveland, The Proposal, The Mary Tyler Moore Show—and a lost episode from Betty’s very first sitcom. Plus Betty reveals inside stories of her amazing life and career."

"Who doesn’t love a party?!? This one is gonna be great,” White said of the theatrical celebration of her big day.

The movie event comes from Steve Boettcher and Mike Trinklein, who were given exclusive access by White. It chronicles White's career along with some of her best moments behind the scenes, including her relationship with her office staff and her efforts as an animal advocate.

“We didn’t want this day to pass without bringing together all the people that love her, from her co-stars and friends to her many millions of fans of all ages, to celebrate her 100th birthday with an entertaining and loving look at what makes Betty a national treasure,” Boettcher said in a statement, per Variety.

It wasn't so long ago when fans were enjoying Betty White on the big screen. Back in September, The Golden Girls screened in theaters for the first time ever through Fathom Events. The celebration of the classic sitcom screened some of the most popular episodes. Playing Rose on The Golden Girls is, of course, one of White's most popular roles. Decades later, the comedy series remains one of the most popular sitcoms of all time, though White is sadly the last surviving member of the show.

"I can't believe I'm the only one left because I [was] the oldest!" White previously told OK Magazine. "It was so exciting to be with four people with that chemistry - I'll never forget that first read. It was like we had been working together forever! I still get goosebumps thinking about it."

Happy early 100th birthday to Betty White. On her last birthday, White celebrated turning 99 by spending time with her animal companions, and we presume she'll be doing the same in January.
