Disney Animation revealed on their official Twitter page today that the first trailer for Big Hero 6 will debut, fittingly, in six days time, on Thursday, May 22nd. The announcement came with a look at the animated adventure's new logo, which you can check out below, then read on for more information.
As of now, the only confirmed voice cast members for Big Hero 6 are T.J. Miller as Fred/Fredzilla, Jamie Chung as Gogo Tomago and Maya Rudolph as an unspecified character. This project marks the first Disney animated adaptation of a Marvel comic book, which follows the exploits of robotics genius Hiro Hamada, who finds himself in the middle of a conspiracy to destroy his hometown of San Fransokyo. He joins forces with a reluctant team of crime fighters, along with his trusted robotic companion Baymax, to save the city.
Don Hall and Chris Williams are directing from a script co-written by Don Hall and Jordan Roberts, based on the comic book created by Duncan Rouleau and Steven T. Seagle.
