Brad Furman has signed on to write and direct the upcoming biopic titled Bigger.

The film will tell the true story of Ben Weider and Joe Weider, who created the Mr. Olympia competition and co-founded the International Federation of BodyBuilding in 1946. It chronicles the rags-to-riches story of the Jewish immigrants, who also mentored on of the most famous bodybuilders of all time Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Aside from being bodybuilders, the duo grew their business to include a supplement line, fitness magazines, the Ms. Olympia and Masters Olympia bodybuilding contests. The project is based on the brother's memoirs titled Brothers of Iron, which was released in 2006.

Ben Weider died in 2008 followed by his brother back in March of this year. Bee Holder Productions' Steve Lee Jones will be producing with Eric Weider. No production details have been released.
