Actress Bijou Phillips (Bully, Hostel: Part II) is currently in Bulgaria shooting It's Alive, a remake of Larry Cohen's 1973 horror classic, according to TimeOut London.
The film also stars James Murray and Raphael Coleman and the plot revolves around a monstrous homicidal vampire baby that embarks on a violent killing spree.
The director Josef Rusnak had the following to say about the remake: 'Some character elements and situations have been updated to reflect certain changes in society, but the script still preys on the genre's ability to explode the foundation of today's bourgeoisie'. Keep it light Jo - it's just a killer baby flick!
No word on when the film will be released.
