Being one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood comes with its fair share of perks, other than the money and fame, of course. One of those is being able to help out your friends and bring them along with you to your multi-million dollar franchises, which is exactly what behemoth megastar Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson wants to do with his small-statured pal, Kevin Hart, and his upcoming superhero movie Black Adam.

Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart discussed potentially reuniting for the long-awaited comic book adventure, with Hart declaring that discussions were being had, and that he would definitely be starring in Black Adam, no matter what.

"We've already discussed it. We talked about it earlier, so we're finding that out. No matter what, he's not going to do it and not put me in it. How selfish would that be?"

Thankfully for him, Dwayne Johnson backed up his claim, though he may have done it to save Hart any embarrassment.

"We've got to find the part for Kevin in Black Adam within the DC Universe."

Well, it sounds like both actors are pretty enthusiastic about starring together once again, though that could simply involve Hart as a bystander, or perhaps someone who is taken out by Black Adam with his heat vision, or perhaps crushed by falling debris, the possibilities are quite endless.

At the moment, the details surrounding Black Adam and what the story will be are scarce, but with the film having been in development for years no doubt a lot of different ideas have been thrown around. We did get to see the first Black Adam poster recently. And one thing that we do know is that the film will be linked to this year's superhero comedy, Shazam!, and that the Justice Society of America will play an integral role

Of course, it would be far from the first time the Johnson and Hart team have joined forces for our entertainment, with the two first working together back in the 2016 spy comedy, Central Intelligence. Since then, the comedic duo have starred together in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, as well as Hart nabbing a cameo in this year's Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw. So, The Rock has already proven himself willing to involve his buddy.

Until Hart shows up on screen for a few seconds before being smooshed by Black Adam (probably), audiences can see the pair reunite for the upcoming Jumanji sequel, Jumanji: The Next Level. Picking up not long after the events of the first movie, The Next Level finds our intrepid heroes once again sucked into the jungle-themed video game, where they must fight to survive in order to reach the end and be returned to the real world. Johnson and Hart will once again play two of the game's avatars, Dr. Smolder Bravestone and Franklin "Mouse" Finbar respectively, with Johnson the guise of an elderly Danny DeVito and Hart the guise of DeVito's equally elderly pal, Milo.

Jumanji: The Next Level is due for release on December 13, whilst Black Adam is scheduled to fly onto screens December 22, 2021. This news come from ET Canada.
