It has now been two years since the tragic passing of Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman, and several of those lucky enough to work alongside the promising young actor have taken to social media to pay tribute. Black Panther star Lupita Nyong'o, who will reprise the role of Nakia in the upcoming sequel, shared a clip of Boseman to her Instagram account, showing how truly humble the actor was.

“Kept it real, kept it kind,” Lupita Nyong'o said in a caption alongside the footage, which shows Boseman signing autographs for fans. Fellow Black Panther co-star Winston Duke, who will return as the warrior M'Baku in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, wrote a comment alongside the clip. “Incredibly generous man…always sharing and helping and giving and loving… ugh… my heart … Ure missed beyond any words my brother… love love! Thanks Lupita for posting our treasure… man oh man!!” the actor wrote.

Letitia Wright, who stars as Shuri, the princess of Wakanda and sister to Boseman’s T’Challa, continued these sentiments by commenting a series of heart emojis.

Chadwick Boseman sadly passed away on August 28, 2020, after a private battle with colon cancer. The actor made a huge impression on the Marvel Cinematic Universe after debuting as T’Challa aka Black Panther in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War before featuring in both Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and leading his own outing, Black Panther, which grossed over $1.3 billion worldwide.
