Possible SPOILERS for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever lie ahead...

Marvel merchandise often appears before the release of the movie itself to give certain details away, and here we are again, with a Black Panther: Wakanda Forever LEGO set potentially revealing who will pick up the mantle of the MCU hero. Coming courtesy of The Brick Fan, the Lego set shows King Namor’s Throne Room and seemingly reveals none other than Letitia Wright’s character Shuri in a new Black Panther suit.

If you look really closely, you can just make out the golden highlights on the suit. The same golden highlights that were shown at the end of the recently released Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer. While she does not appear to have a mask, fans have theorized for some time that it will be Shuri who steps into the role of the Black Panther following the death of T’Challa. A second Lego set shows Shuri in her lab, where it looks like she may be working on building her own superhero suit...

While unconfirmed officially, the idea of Shuri retreating into her lab, building her own suit, and emerging as the new Black Panther does line up with a recent plot leak, which goes on to reveal that, while she will take up the superhero mantle, Winston Duke’s M’Baku will be crowned the king of Wakanda come the movie’s end.

Alongside (maybe) confirming Shuri as the new Black Panther, the Lego sets also provide another look at several of the main players in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, including the debut of Namor the Submariner and his underwater soldiers.

Black Panther 2 Merch Has Also Revealed a Big Change to Namor & His Underwater Kingdom

Merchandise has a long history of spoiling and revealing certain details about upcoming Marvel projects. These Lego sets are not even the first example of merchandise revealing things about Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, with a tie-in figure of Namor showing that the movie will make a big change to his underwater kingdom.

No longer named Atlantis, the MCU’s Namor will instead rule over the ancient underwater civilization Talocan. "The ruler of Talocan, an ancient civilization hidden in the depths of the ocean, Namor will stop at nothing to protect his people," a description alongside the toy reveals.

Namor will be portrayed by Narcos: Mexico star Tenoch Huerta, with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever centering on a war between the nations of Wakanda and Talocan. An attack from beneath the ocean forces Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M’Baku, Okoye and the Dora Milaje to fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death.

Directed by Ryan Coogler, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever stars Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba, Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Tenoch Huerta, Martin Freeman, and Angela Bassett. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is scheduled to be released in the United States on November 11, 2022, and has now been revealed as the final installment in Phase 4 of the MCU.
