Could we see The White Wolf show up in the eventual Black Widow movie? Marvel hasn't even officially announced the project yet, but assuming it does happen, Sebastian Stan wants in. For years, fans have been clamoring for Scarlett Johannson to get her own movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and, even though Marvel Studios won't confirm it's going down, it's almost certainly being developed for Phase 4 right now. Even if it is a solo movie, that doesn't mean some other characters from the MCU can't show up, such as Bucky.

With Avengers: Infinity War just around the corner, Sebastian Stan has started making the press rounds. During a recent interview, the actor behind The White Wolf was asked whether or not he would be interested in a part in the Black Widow movie. Stan was very enthusiastic in his response and even demonstrated some of his Marvel Comics knowledge. Here's what he had to say.

"Yeah, absolutely! Of course! I mean, anytime I'm ready. They have a very nice history in my opinion. It's very intricate. The truth is he actually taught her in the comic books. He was a teacher to her. It's all set during a specific, interesting time. The Cold War. It's all a very spy thriller-ish, noir-ish story. It would be very interesting to explore that on film. I would love if they do that. You know, I hope. Maybe they will."

There's almost no way of knowing what form the Black Widow solo movie is going to take, but there could be room to have Bucky show up. Especially since he's back to good in Avengers: Infinity War. He's also one of the actors who still has movies on his contract beyond Avengers 4, which is important. For the time being, can we expect to see Bucky and Natasha Romanoff together in Infinity War?

" It's all...there's so many thing that are pressing in this film I think that, a scene between Black Widow and the Winter Soldier would be a bit far to the left. There are other pressing issues to deal with. But it's nice to have that there. It's a great opportunity that one day we might explore. It depends on how they feel."

While Marvel Studios is being quiet right now, screenwriter Jac Schaeffer has reportedly been hired to pen the script for Black Widow, with Scarlett Johansson said to be very involved in the development. There have also been rumors of a 2020 release date, but that's far from confirmed, as the only movies locked down for Phase 4 are the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Whenever the movie arrives, don't be too shocked if Bucky shows up in it. This news comes to us courtesy of Bad Taste.
