Escape Room might be the first theatrical horror movie hitting screens in 2019, but January has some other spooky surprises awaiting those who love to pretend it's Halloween all year around. Fillmmode is kicking of the creepy vibes of a terrifying new year with the thrilling chiller Blood Bound, and it promises at least three good scares, just going off the trailer alone.

Today, you can get your first good scare of the New Year with the highly-anticipated release of Richard LeMay's supernatural horror Blood Bound, coming to on Demand this January.

Bound to an ancient pact, a family of unlimited power descend upon a small rural town to sacrifice 4 human lives, one being a member of their own family. Joseph Melendez (The Americans), Eden Brolin (Beyond), Rosa Arredondo (Roswell, New Mexico), Gerald McCullouch (C.S.I), and Cobra Kai star Vanessa Rubio star in a new film from the director of Dementia 13. Blood Bound is available on Demand starting January 15 from Clay Epstein's Film Mode Entertainment.

Every 25 years, it begins. Bound to an ancient pact, a family of unlimited power descends upon a small rural town to sacrifice four human lives, one being a member of their own family. This Rosemary's Baby meets Drag Me to Hell thriller takes a dark look into how far the human spirit can take one soul in it's most desperate hour.

New year. New scares. Richard LeMay is ready to scare the wits out of you with his latest horror experience. The director got his start in comedy with the 2003 romance 200 American. He followed that up in 2007 with the drama Whirlwind before making his true breakthrough with 2012's Naked as We Came. It wasn't until 2017 that he thrust himself into the horror game with Dementia 13, which has been winning fans ever since its release.

Eden Brolin puts in a stunning performance in Blood Bound. She is known from her Freeform drama Beyond, and has been making a name for herself in indie cinema, with three feature films coming in the new year, which include Kingfish, Back Fork and Tyger Tiger. Her impressive work is put on display in this first trailer, alongside co-star Joseph Melendez, who has appeared in a number of hit series including Netflix's Ozark, USA's The Sinner and Fox's Prison Break.
