The new Blu-Ray copy protection has been foiled by pirating software once again. According to DVD Town the software company SlySoft has already released an update for its AnyDVD program that will remove the new Advanced Access Content System (AACS) MKBv7 copy-protection feature.

The first discs to ship with the new AACS MKBv7 feature were Alvin and the Chipmunks and Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem. The site also reported that those discs won't play without the new firmware update enabling this protection, even though it's already been hacked.

We'll have more on this when we get more information.
