What a week it has been for actor Bob Odenkirk. On Monday night, the series finale of Better Call Saul aired on AMC, bringing an end to the story of the character Odenkirk has been playing in the Breaking Bad world since 2009. It was a bittersweet ending, but it was pretty well-received by fans, garnering great acclaim and scoring as one of the show's highest-rated episodes on IMDb.For Odenkirk, he says in a new tweet that he found the finale to be satisfying. Without specifically stating what happens, Odenkirk says he's pretty happy with what becomes of Jimmy McGill, though he still can't help but feel bad about one certain request going unfulfilled for the character. Odenkirk then goes on to celebrate the money that's been raised for various charities by auctioning off some of the show's props."What a week!" the actor exclaims. "You all made it better than the best. First the finale, which played well for folks, and for me a satisfying story closer. I think Jimmy Mcgill is in a better place, no spoilers, but I sure wish he'd gotten that ice cream!!"
In a follow-up tweet, he says, "Then there's this charity event. WOW! Nearly 50,000 bucks for such great charities: Ourtism, Autism Speaks, New Day Youth and Family Services, The ALS Association, NAMI...OH! And take note - you all alerted me to some great new charities for Autistic spectrum connection."
Odenkirk then goes on to tag Autistic Self Advocacy Network, Autistics Unmasked, NeuroClastic, Communication First, and To Be Like Me.

The Better Call Saul Ending Is Open to Interpretation
While things don't exactly look fantastic concerning Jimmy McGill's future at the end of Better Call Saul, some fans choose to believe that there's more to this story to be written, imagining the former Saul Goodman using his legal smarts, possibly with Kim Wexler's (Rhea Seehorn) assistance, to better his situation. Other fans feel that Jimmy is staying put and that he won't ever see Kim again, their final meeting serving as a goodbye. In any case, the ending was meant to have fans thinking about what comes next.
“Peter wanted to write an ending that inspired people to continue the story in their heads and I think he did," Seehorn told the New York Post after the finale. "There are multiple interpretations of what happens the next day and next year and [for] the rest of their lives. Personally, I’m a hopeless romantic and I think [Kim] very much continues to see him and visiting and that she makes her way back, little by little, to the law."
