The incomparable Bob Odenkirk has been officially honored with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. On April 18, the same day the sixth and final season of Better Call Saul premiered, Odenkirk paid a visit to the famous walkway where he was bestowed with the star by two of his frequent collaborators. This includes Rhea Seehorn, with whom he's been co-starring on Better Call Saul since 2015, as well as David Cross, his longtime comedy partner and Mr. Show co-star.

You can watch the complete ceremony below, which was originally streamed live on the Hollywood Walk of Fame's official website.

Odenkirk's star just so happens to be right next to that of Bryan Cranston, his co-star from Breaking Bad. While Cranston hadn't appeared in any previous season of Better Call Saul, it was confirmed before the premiere that he would reprise the role of Walter White alongside Aaron Paul's Jesse Pinkman in the final season. Cranston also spoke about Odenkirk getting a Walk of Fame star next to his own, previously telling Variety:

"Primarily, it’s to share the rent and expenses of the cleanup, and I hope he’s a good roommate because we’re gonna have problems if he doesn’t hold up his end of the sidewalk.”

In a statement, Hollywood Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez also spoke about Odenkirk's induction. She said:

“Bob Odenkirk has starred in some of the entertainment industry’s most popular and history-making television shows. Fans will be thrilled to learn that Bob’s star will be next to the star of his Breaking Bad co-star and friend Bryan Cranston!"

Better Call Saul Star Rhea Seehorn Talks Series' Potential Endgame

While he was well known for his comedy background, Breaking Bad brought Bob Odenkirk into the world of drama in a major way. With his role as Jimmy McGill, aka Saul Goodman, Odenkirk shined brightly enough to warrant his own spinoff series with Better Call Saul. There is a lot of fan excitement heading into the final season as Saul has achieved widespread acclaim over the course of its five previous seasons.

It comes to an end with the final season of Better Call Saul, but Odenkirk won't be leaving drama work behind him. In fact, he'll be sticking around at AMC. Odenkirk will star in the AMC dramedy series Straight Man, marking one of his next big roles after Saul concludes. Meanwhile, he will also reunite with Mr. Show co-star David Cross for the dark comedy series Guru Nation, which stars the two as rival cult leaders. Odenkirk can also be seen in the second season of the Prime Video series Undone, due to premiere on April 29 on the streaming service and has teased a return to action movies with a sequel to last year's hit film Nobody.

Odenkirk's final performance as Saul Goodman can be seen in the sixth and final season of Better Call Saul when it premieres on AMC and AMC+ on April 18.
