And as a nation prepares to go to war over a Ghostbusters reboot, he has a cute, funny and completely insane story that ties into the affair. It's not that shocking, until you learn the notorious former drug user was clean and sober at the time of the incident. Yes, Bobby is claiming that he had sex with a ghost!

Brown shared the story with Robin Roberts of ABC News earlier this week. And it is certainly the highlight in what turned out to be an overall fascinating interview. The singer, who has been working the world stage since he was a young boy, had this too say about his supernatural encounter.

"I bought this mansion in Georgia ... This was a really, really spooky place. But yes, one time, I woke up and, yeah, a ghost - I was being mounted by a ghost. I wasn't high ... I was not trippin'."

In the summer of 1989, he contributed several tracks to the Ghostbusters 2 soundtrack including 'On Our Own' and 'We're Back', while New Edition contributed the song 'Supernatural'. The tale of ghostly lust actually arrives under melancholy circumstances, as Brown was initially doing the interview to discuss his late ex-wife Whitney Houston, who certainly had her fair share of issues, and the death of his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown.

The full Bobby Brown interview will be part of a segment on this week's special edition of ABC's 20/20. The singer is out promoting his new autobiography 'Every Little Step', which tracks his life and times. In the book, he offers new details about his ex-wife's death. He also delves into the death of his daughter, which he believes happened under mysterious circumstances. while the man has certainly led an interesting life, it's his story of supernatural sex that is likely to sell it's own fair share of books.

Bobby Brown's new book will hit store shelves on June 13. The new Ghostbusters movie will also be in theaters around that same time, so this serves as a nice little tie-in. Though Brown wasn't asked to contribute this time around. Instead, Fall Out Boy and Missy Elliot will be doing the Ghostbusters theme song cover. And Elle King has crafted a new 'girl power' theme entitled 'Good Girls', of which she is definitely not one.
