Despite the rumors, I have no plans to do Bond, but the internet may be confused as I am doing Cowboys & Aliens with Daniel Craig. fun!

Original Story: We're still not quite sure when the latest James Bond film will start production, although that hasn't stopped casting rumors from flying. Yahoo! UK originally reported that Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto was set for a role in James Bond 23, but now Ace Showbiz is reporting that she is not involved in the film.

"I would like to confirm that as of today, Freida Pinto has not been approached to be part of the next Bond film," the spokesperson tells India's site NDTV. "It is of course very flattering to even be rumoured to be part of a Bond film but she has certainly not been approached for the role of the next Bond girl opposite Daniel Craig as yet."

Ace Showbiz is also reporting that Olivia Wilde (Tron Legacy) is rumored for a part in the film. It was said that Wilde would play, "a double-crossing UN worker based in Afghanistan." It wasn't clear if this was the same role that Pinto was rumored to have landed.

Sam Mendes is set to direct James Bond 23 from a script by Peter Morgan, Neil Purvis and Robert Wade. No production schedule has been set for the film as of yet.
