Randall M. Miller's Napa Valley wine industry drama Bottle Shock has just amassed an impressive cast. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Chris Pine, Rachael Taylor, Eliza Dushku, Bill Pullman and Alan Rickman will all be appearing in the project.

The film takes place in the 1970s, and it revolves around the Montelena Winery. This particular winery won an international wine-tasting competition, thus putting California, and particularly the Napa Valley, on the wine making map.

Pine will play the son of the vineyard owner portrayed by Bill Pullman, while Taylor will play a university student who interns at the winery. Dushku is a local bartender, and Rickman is one of the wine tasting judges.

Miller wrote the screenplay with Jody Savin from an original script by Ross Schwartz. Shooting begins August 1st in Napa and Sonoma.
