Brad Pitt is teaming up with Natalie Portman for a new film adaptation. According to Variety, Pitt and Portman will star in an adaptation of Important Artifacts and Personal Property from the Collection of Lenore Doolan and Harold Morris, Including Books, Street Fashion, and Jewelry. The book was written by Leeanne Shapton and was just recently published.

The book is structured like an estate catalog, with items that chronicle the rise and fall of the four-year relationship between Lenore Doolan (Portman), a 20-something New York Times food columnist and Harold Morris (Pitt), a 40-something photographer.

Shapton is an illustrator and art director for the New York Times. No production schedule was given for the film.
