Actor Brad Pitt is in negotiations to star in the New Regency thriller The Gray Man for director James Gray. We reported back in January that James Gray signed on to direct, but we haven't heard anything else on the project, until now.

Adam Cozad adapted The Gray Man from the Mark Greaney novel, which centers on a former CIA agent who has become an assassin. He takes on a dangerous mission to rescue his former CIA handler in Europe. Adam Cozad's screenplay made the Black List last year.
