It seems that Brad Pitt could be starring in not one but two adaptations of Michael Lewis books. According to Vulture, Pitt's production company, Plan B, is closing a deal to option Lewis' forthcoming book The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine.

The book takes a look at the current American housing situation and the Wall Street greed at the center of it. It was said that Pitt could be developing this as a starring vehicle for himself as well.

Pitt was set to star in another Lewis adaptation, Moneyball, before the plug was pulled on the production just days before shooting was set to start. Now Aaron Sorkin is writing the film, with Bennet Miller attached to direct. Pitt still could star in the film as well.
