Last week, Game of Thrones star Kristian Nairn revealed that his character Hodor won't be appearing in Season 5. It was assumed that Hodor's companions Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) and Meera (Ellie Kendrick) won't be back this season as well, but Isaac Hempstead-Wright revealed in a new interview that he is coming back for Season 5. Here's what he had to say when asked what his next project will be.

"The next season of Game of Thrones and school are my biggest projects, at the moment."

It remains to be seen if Ellie Kendrick will be returning as Meera, and how their story will be advanced without Hodor. Bran, Meera and Hodor's story is nearly caught up to the end of George R.R. Martin's fifth book, so it made sense to many fans that they wouldn't be appearing in Season 5. George R.R. Martin still has not finished the last two books in his A Song of Fire and Ice series, which has many fans wondering if the show will catch up too fast before the books are finished.

At the end of Season 4, Bran, Hodor and Meera made it to the "weirwood tree" and the Three-Eyed Raven, a.k.a. The Last Greenseer, that Bran had dreamed about. In the fifth book by George R.R. Martin, Greenseer helps Bran develop his clairvoyant abilities, which he uses to communicate with another character in Westeros. It's possible that the show may tap into this story line, but that has not been confirmed at this time.
