Heralded on Citysearch.comm as one of the Top 10 Things to Do this Summer for the second straight year, the Fourth Annual Project by Project Southern California Food and Wine Tasting Benefit will feature an evening of culinary delights and delicious wine.
Celebrated Hollywood actors pair up with some of the best known chefs in Los Angeles and show their culinary skill in front of a live audience of 800 food loving attendees. Accompanying the executive chefs for the evening, the stellar line-up of Hollywood entertainers as well as renown newscasters will be participating as Guest Celebrity Sous Chefs and helping the master chefs prepare food and serve the attendees.
On deck at the fires for the evening actor Sung Kang of The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Michelle Krusiec and Lynn Chen of Joan Chen's award winning Indie film Saving Face, Ivana Ma of NBC's hit show The Apprentice 2, Clyde Kusatsu of Sydney Pollack's acclaimed film The Interpreter, Roger Fan of Annapolis, Dustin Nguyen of Little Fish with Cate Blanchett, 100.3 FM LA Beat's DJ K-Sly, poet Beau Sia, newscaster Ted Chen of NBC4, newscaster David Ono of ABC7 and newscaster Janet Choi of KTLA and many more to come. In a city that is lauded for its dining experience and variety of cuisines, guests to this event will have an opportunity to sample the best of culinary delights that Los Angeles has to offer and have it prepared to them and served by one of their favorite actors.
Bravo's Top Chef 2 will film at the event, with Project by Project's Food and Wine Tasting serving as the backdrop to one of the upcoming season's challenges.
This unique event will take place at the Wallis Annenberg Building at California Science Center from 7:00 pm to 10:30 pm. In addition, there will be a one-hour VIP champagne reception courtesy of Crustacean Beverly Hills at 6:00pm. The event will benefit Los Angeles based non-profit, Visual Communications, the country's premier Asian Pacific media arts center.
Tickets are available for anyone wishing to attend: Pre-Sale tickets are $115. Tickets are $150 at the door (July 22). VIP tickets are $250.
