Another familiar face has joined former Breaking Bad co-stars Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul for PopCorners' upcoming Super Bowl ad. It was previously announced that both Cranston and Paul would be returning for the commercial, reprising their respective roles as meth cooks Walter White and Jesse Pinkman. Sneak peeks have also revealed first looks at the characters back in the Albuquerque desert for the new ad, and a new video teaser officially reunites the two with the characters in their RV. Watch it below, via PopCorners.

PopCorners has also released another sneak peek image of the Super Bowl ad, this one featuring another star from Breaking Bad. Quite memorably, Raymond Cruz portrayed the antagonist Tuco Salamanca in the show's first two seasons, serving as the first major foe for Walt and Jesse. The character returned in the prequel series Better Call Saul with Cruz reprising the role. When Better Call Saul ended last year, it had seemed that Cruz would never again be playing that character, but this just goes to show that fans should never say never.

In the new photo, Tuco meets with Walt and Jesse in the desert. The "tattooed speed freak," as Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) once described him, is holding a bag of PopCorners, seemingly as part of some kind of deal with Walt and Jesse. Could it be that this snack food is so tasty that Tuco reacts to it in an overexcited way, just as he would with a certain blue substance that had been dealt to him in the actual TV show?

You can view the full-size image of Tuco's reunion with Walt and Jesse below.

This leads us to wonder if there will be other surprises in store for Breaking Bad fans with the PopCorners commercial. The video teaser above appears to be a loose recreation of a memorable scene from the show when Walt and Jesse are stranded in the desert, having trouble getting the RV to start. One major difference is that Walt is calmly eating PopCorners this time around, making him much more mellow than he was on the TV show. The photo with Tuco is also reminiscent of when that character would meet with Walt and Jesse to purchase their product. How many other references and Easter eggs will be in the final commercial?

Fans can see how the commercial plays out when it's aired live during the Super Bowl on Feb. 12, 2023.
