It seems that filmmaker Brett Ratner is delving into the comic book genre for a new film project. Variety is reporting that Ratner has acquired the rights to the comic book property The Unknowns.

Ratner will produce this comic book adaptation, which centers on Alexis Davenport, a young woman living a normal life who discovers that she was actually the leader of a highly-trained team of killers dubbed The Unknowns. She then goes on a journey to find out why her memories have been erased and who was responsible.

The comic book was created by Mark A. Altman, Steven Kriozere and model/actress Monica Olsen. No director has been attached to the project as of yet.
