Britt Robertson, who starred in the short-lived CW Network series The Secret Circle, has joined the cast of the remake Starbuck for DreamWorks. She will play the daughter of Vince Vaughn's character in this comedy, one of his hundreds of other children.

The story, based on the French-Canadian movie Starbuck, centers on a man (Vince Vaughn) who comes to realize that he has fathered 533 children through his sperm donations over the years. When several of his kids come forward, he must come to grips on whether or not to reveal his identity. Chris Pratt also stars as the man's attorney, and Cobie Smulders will play his pregnant girlfriend. The title comes from the anonymous nickname the man used to make his deposits.

Original Starbuck director Ken Scott is back at the helm for this remake, working from his own script. André Rouleau producing, with shooting scheduled to start later this year.
