In a story from The Hollywood Reporter Brooke Shields is coming back to the big screen after a 10 year hiatus. She will be acting in Summit Entertainment and Participant Media's live-action family comedy Furry Vengeance.

Also joining the cast are Dick Van Dyke, Ken Jeong and Samantha Bee

Brendan Fraser is starring in this film from Roger Kumble. Fraser plays a real estate developer who moves his family from Chicago to Oregon when his job calls for him to oversee the building of a major housing development. But when his latest project threatens the homes of the local forest creatures, the animals seek revenge by turning a peaceful cul-de-sac under construction into a battlefield of epic proportions.

Shields will be playing the role of Tami Sanders, the wife of Fraser's character.

This is Shields first big screen role since James Toback's 1999 film Black and White.

The actress built her early career with such films as The Blue Lagoon and Endless Love. Since then she has done a lot of television and theater work.
