/first-look-at-ben-affleck-as-bruce-wayne-in-batman-v-superman-set-photos/Yesterday, we got our first look at Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne, standing in front of a demolished Wayne Financial building. Many believe this is from the start of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which finds Bruce arriving in Metropolis to survey the damage done by Kal-El and Zod at the end of Man of Steel. Badass Digest claims to know Bruce Wayne's backstory when this upcoming adventure begins, and they're surprised Batman's alter-ego isn't as grey as they might have expected.
Here is one of the set photos in question:
When Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens, Batman has existed in the world of Gotham for over thirty years. The superhero himself is now in his fifties. The Dark Knight is an urban legend, and no picture has ever been taking of this vigilante in action (which is a little hard to believe in this age of social media). Called a 'creature of the night', Batman has gone on many adventures in his years as a crime fighter. Inside the Batcave is a memorial centered on a war torn Robin uniform.
Badass Digest go onto confirm what we've heard in previous reports, that this is a Dark Knight unlike any we've seen before on film. He is called a 'quiet operator'. He has never been involved in an epic 'blockbuster' battle, but instead wages small vigilante crusades.
The site also goes onto say that Wonder Woman has also existed in this DC Cinematic Universe for quite sometime when the movie opens. Though, her activities have been just as secretive. Her adventures are said to be on the same caliber as Batman, but very different in nature, and presented in a unique, unexpected way.
