It was /bruce-willis-set-for-g-i-joe-2-retaliation/report on August 9th that Bruce Willis had entered into negotiations with Paramount Pictures to portray original army hero General Joe Colton in director Jon M. Chu's sequel G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation.

Today, co-star Dwayne Johnson, who portrays Roadblock in the movie, confirmed via his Twitter account that Bruce Willis has officially joined the cast. Here is what the former wrestler had to say.

"Welcome brother Bruce Willis to the cast of G.I. Joe! What an honor."
