With the recent /breaking-bad-season-4-wont-debut-until-july-2011/announcement that Breaking Bad's fourth season wouldn't debut until July of 2011, series star Bryan Cranston hasn't wasted any time trying to find another project to take on during this prolonged hiatus. According to Film School Rejects, the actor has joined the cast of director Nicolas Winding Refn's upcoming drama Drive (not to be confused with Nicolas Cage's upcoming 3D thriller Drive Angry).

Ryan Gosling was earlier announced to be headlining the film, which focuses on a stuntman who moonlights as a getaway driver. Film School Rejects interviewed Refn, who had this to say about the project:

"We signed Bryan Cranston. I wanted him and I got him. He's my favorite actor around."

There is no word on who Bryan Cranston will be playing in the film. For more insight into the film itself, which Refn calls more of a love story than an action yarn, head over to Film School Rejects.
