Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston revealed today that he is writing a memoir that chronicles the six years he spent shooting the hit AMC series, which Scribner will publish in 2015. In addition, we also have details about new characters that will be popping up in AMC's spin-off, Better Call Saul, which will debut sometime this fall on the cable network.

Bryan Cranston's book will chronicle how he broke in as an actor, and how much his iconic role of Walter White changed his life. Here's what the actor had to say in a statement about his book.

"Walter White taught me a lot - some of it useful, some of it dangerous. With this book, I want to tell the stories of my life and reveal the secrets and lies that I lived with for six years shooting Breaking Bad."

Scribner publisher Nan Graham also released the following statement about this upcoming book.

"Bryan Cranston writes the way he acts - with fierce commitment, intelligence and humor. His memoir is about the work of acting and about his role as Walter White, one of the greatest performances of our time. We are thrilled to be publishing this book on the Scribner list alongside Stephen King's On Writing and Steve Martin's Born."

The three-time Emmy winner is currently starring in the Broadway play All the Way, which is based on the life of President Lyndon B. Johnson.

In related news, Showbuzz 411 has information about some of the new characters who will be appearing in the Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul.

Bob Odenkirk reprises his role from the flagship series as sleazy lawyer Saul Goodman, and series creator Vince Gilligan previously hinted that both Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul will have cameo appearances as Walter White and Jesse Pinkman. This new report reveals the show will revolve around the law office and the court system, with six new regular characters Burt, Dr. Thurber, Beth, Eddie, and Zak and Luke.

Burt is described as a "Kennedy" type lawyer from a prestigious firm, with Dr. Thurber and Beth conceived as lawyers also. Eddie is a slick, Spanish-speaking career criminal, while Zak and Luke are 20-something skateboarding twin brothers.
