Avengers: Age of Ultron only had a passing mention of The Winter Soldier, when Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson tells Chris Evans' Steve Rogers that the search is still on. That search will continue in Captain America: Civil War, and today we get a first look at Bucky Barnes' return, courtesy of actor Sebastian Stan. Though we don't get to see his face, we do get to see that Barnes is still wearing the black baseball cap we last left him in.

Shooting has begun on Captain America: Civil War at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. This third installment of the popular Super Hero franchise will go on in Germany, Puerto Rico and Iceland. The adventure picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.

It is not yet known exactly how Bucky Barnes will play into the events seen on screen, since they will be altered from the original comic book upon which they are based. In the comics, Bucky teams up with Nick Fury to free an imprisoned Steve Rogers. As there will be plenty of things going on in this epic blockbuster, it isn't known if Sam Wilson is still hunting for and finds Barnes, or if the Winter Soldier comes forward on his own.

The film boasts one of Marvel's biggest casts to date. Chris Evans returns as the iconic Super Hero character Steve Rogers/Captain America along with Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Falcon, Paul Bettany as The Vision, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye, Don Cheadle as Jim Rhodes/War Machine and Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch. After his debut in Marvel's Ant-Man on July 17, 2015, Paul Rudd will make his first appearance alongside the Avengers as Scott Lang/Ant-Man in Captain America: Civil War. The film also includes outstanding additional cast, including Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa/Black Panther, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter/Agent 13, Daniel Brühl, Frank Grillo as Brock Rumlow/Crossbones, William Hurt as General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross and Martin Freeman.
