We have only seen one trailer for Captain America: Civil War, but that video featured a scene that some fans are still talking about. The scene in question features Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man holding a presumably injured War Machine (Don Cheadle) during a battle, which has lead to speculation that this character may be killed in this epic superhero adventure. Superhero Hype caught up with Don Cheadle at the Sundance Film Festival over the weekend, where the actor teases that what happens to Rhodey plays a big part in the stories to come.

"I never know what it's going to be and they keep their cards very close to their breast with Marvel. I never know where the character's going to go, but he's become more and more and in the next one, you'll see that what happens to Rhodey is a little bit more intense and pivotal to what happens in the rest of the stories."

While we may not get confirmation on whether Rhodey/War Machine lives or dies until Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 6, a report from last week teased that directors Joe Russo and Anthony Russo filmed the death scenes for War Machine, Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and The Falcon (Anthony Mackie), but the filmmakers aren't expected to use all three in the movie. The report speculated that Scarlet Witch would be the one who is killed off, with Rhodey expected to be "severely wounded" in the movie. The actor also spoke about his experiences within the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole.

"I ultimately like it when we're there and I'm working with other actors and it's fun, but it can be very tedious. A lot of time you're looking at a green screen and a tennis ball on a C-stand, and it could't be more antithetical to doing what Miles Ahead was, but you just give over to the elements and go, 'Oh these are the toys and I'm playing with the biggest and best toys' and we're flying around and doing stuff that if I was ten years old, I would be having the greatest time in my life."

Earlier reports also claimed that Captain America himself will die in Captain America: Civil War, with either The Falcon or The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) expected to take over as the new Cap. Of course, this hasn't been confirmed yet, but with all of these heroes fighting against each other, it's surely inevitable that a few won't survive. What do you think will happen to War Machine in Captain America: Civil War?
