One of the most iconic moments in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is arguably the elevator scene in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Some video footage from Chris Evans' rehearsal has found its way online and it shows just how much hard work went into making the scene happen. For those who need a quick refresher, it's the scene where Cap takes down an elevator full of HYDRA agents posing as members of S.H.I.E.L.D., which was touched on again in this year's Avengers: Endgame.

The Captain America: Winter Soldier rehearsal footage takes place in a makeshift elevator. Chris Evans can be seen getting ready to try the fight scene out with a bunch of other actors who are ready to tear the fictional hero apart. Once action is called, one can see how much choreography goes into making an MCU fight scene look so good on the big screen. Even though it's just a rehearsal, Evans and crew already have the moves down and it's pretty intense to see in real time.

Captain America is obviously a huge part of the MCU and will continue to be going forward. The character is one of the biggest heroes in comic book history, so picking an actor to take on the role was a difficult situation. However, Chris Evans, who previously played Johnny Storm, aka Human Torch in Fantastic Four, proved to be the perfect candidate to take the character to the big screen. With that being said, Evans could not play the character forever and decided that 2019 would be a good time to exit the franchise with Robert Downey Jr. doing the same thing.

Avengers: Endgame saw Captain America keep the team together to go take down Thanos once and for all. After the dust settled, Cap decided to take the Infinity Stones back to their respective areas and then went back in time to live out the way he always wanted to live his life with Peggy Carter. The recently-released script for the epic movie reveals that Steve Rogers went back to 1949 in Washington D.C. to be with Carter, which finally showed off their dance on the big screen. It was just one more big moment for the character in Endgame and the MCU as a whole.

The Avengers: Endgame script also revealed that Steve Rogers is 112-years old by the end of the movie. It became evident that it was time to pass the iconic shield to another hero, which is why he gave it to Sam Wilson, aka Falcon. Wilson will be exploring that new responsibility in the upcoming Disney+ series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The new series is currently in production and should hit the new streaming platform some point next year. While we wait for that, you can go back in time to see Chris Evans rehearse the Captain America elevator fight scene below, thanks to Reddit.
