We have some new goods for Captain Marvel fans to enjoy as the movie officially arrives on Digital HD. This was the first of three entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe coming our way in 2019, alongside Avengers: Endgame, which has proved to be one of the most successful movies of all time, and the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home, which may (or may not) be bringing the idea of the Marvel multiverse to the party. But Brie Larson's first solo adventure was also a big step for the MCU, not to mention a commercially successful one, that is now making its way to home video.

That being the case, a couple of new videos have made their way online. First up, we have the movie's Marvel gag reel. These are always a fun little extra that have been commonly included on home video releases of popular movies dating back to the early days of DVD. MCU releases have been no exception. Here, we get to see the cast, including Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn, having themselves a good time. Arguably the most enjoyable part is seeing everyone messing around with a stuffed version of Goose the cat.

Next up, we have an extended version of the scene from the movie where Brie Larson's Carol Danvers first arrives on Earth and winds up stealing a guy's motorcycle. The scene sees Carol giving a creepy dude who asked to see her smile a reserved, but still painful, demonstration of her powers, resulting in her making off with his jacket and motorcycle. This particular scene riled up a certain section of people online who didn't particularly enjoy the feminist themes on display in this scene, or the movie in general.

These trolls have been present, even before Captain Marvel hit theaters. They were so prevalent, in fact, that Rotten Tomatoes has since implemented sweeping changes to their user review system. In any event, critics responded quite well to the movie in general and, at the box office, it proved to be another massive win for Marvel Studios. The movie, the first of which to be centered on a solo female hero in the MCU, grossed $1.2 billion globally, second only to Black Panther in terms of the studio's debut solo movies. Trolls be damned, Carol Danvers is a hit.

The future is bright for Brie Larson in the MCU, as she was also featured in Avengers: Endgame, which is now the second-highest-grossing movie ever. It's all but assured that Captain Marvel 2 will be part of Marvel's Phase 4 plans as a result. Both of the videos made their way online, just as Captain Marvel has been made available for purchase on digital platforms. Those who are waiting to get their hands on a physical copy, be it a DVD, Blu-ray or 4K Ultra HD copy, will have to wait until June 11. In the meantime, be sure to check out both videos from the Marvel solo adventure below.
